London Teaching Pool is currently seeking to recruit a Support Worker to work for a client in Essex County Council (Rochford ) for an immediate start.

Our client is a 31 year old female, with learning disability and autism, with no history of aggression towards others but requires a high level of support to complete tasks.

Our client will need support to access the community in order to engage in activities, such as walking, going to cinemas and cafes, visit the park, attracts or visiting her friend and any planned activities with main carer. Our client does not understand money and will need support and assistance to promote her independence

The preferred support worker should be a car driver, as sometimes, she will need to transport our client to attend to activities. They should also have experience in supporting similar clients and the should match our client, in order to engage in activities and enhance stimulation, and due to her vulnerability and risk, including preference, she prefers a female support worker

The preferred support worker, should have experience providing support with similar clients with learning disability/learning difficulty and should also be a car driver (essential), as sometimes it will require the support worker to transport the client to some activities within Essex.

Successful candidate will also have access to other clients that uses our services.

What we expect from you:

To provide high standards of support to service users in the community, including assistance with, escorting, prompting and engaging with client

To be reliable, punctual and excellent duty of care, as client times are always structured

Previous support experience is preferred

DBS on the update service

Weekly Pay - £11.00 - £14.00ph via umbrella/limited company. PAYE rates also available

Mileage Pay - 0.45p per mile
