Domiciliary Care Assistants

About London Teaching Pool:

We are a CQC registered care agency based in Hainault. We are currently looking for reliable and dedicated Domiciliary Care Worker who can provide quality care and support clients living in the comfort of their own homes in Waltham Forest.

As a Domiciliary Care Assistants your duties are:

To provide exceptional quality domiciliary home care support to clients in the comfort of their own home.

To provide person centred care

To provide high standards of personal care to service users in the community

To provide assistance with meal times (i.e. food preparation)

Assist and prompt clients with medication

To provide general house-keeping duties

To accompany the clients to appointments, trips out and social activities

Provide companionship to prevent loneliness

Support and assist clients with Shopping

To promote client’s rights, choice, independence, individuality, privacy and dignity

To treat clients with respect and keep them safe

To record client’s care notes

Required qualifications and experience:

NVQ 2 OR 3 in Health & Social Care (Preferable)

Care experience is preferred but not essential as full training is provided.

Full driving license and own transport (Preferable)

Commitment to maintain very high standards of care

Excellent punctuality and time management

Excellent communication skills

Reliable, adaptable and flexible

Caring, friendly and empathetic approach towards client

To work with a wide array of service users

Due to Covid-19, and to maintain the safety of our staff and applicants, our registration process is as below, but please rest assured we are recruiting as normal:

Initial telephone interview with your local consultant.

Registration including compliance requirements/checks via internet.

Online training.
