Description

I am currently recruiting for a community-based Phlebotomist to join an NHS service in Barnet. The service is recruiting for Band 2 and Band 3 Phlebotomists on an immediate basis with shifts starting straight away. They offer a seven-day-service from Monday to Sunday with shift times are from 8:30 to 16:30.

To be considered you must:

Have a full UK driving licence

Have access to your own vehicle

Have experience within the Phlebotomy sector

Be confident to work as a solely or on a double up

You will be working with a close-knit team to work as a phlebotomy specialist. Your job role will be to draw blood for diagnostic testing and monitoring, helping to reduce the workload of doctors and nurses.

The ideal candidate should be:

Friendly with a caring nature

Professional

Punctual

To be considered for this position it is essential that you have previously worked as a phlebotomist, ideally within the community sector. You must have a wide range of knowledge with good people skills as you will be visiting patients in the comfort of their own homes.

You will need, or need to be willing to get the following to be able to complete this assignment:

An updated enhanced DBS

Face to face Manual Handling & Life Support training

Online Training

Immunisations (Hepatitis B, MMR, Varicella)
