Job Description - Band 2 HCA on a Hospital Ward:

Washing and dressing patients

Serving meals and assisting with feeding patients

Supporting nursing staff as needed

Basic observations (vital signs)

Monitoring blood pressure, temperature, and capillary blood sugars.

Prior healthcare experience is a essential for this role

Qualifications and skills:

NVQ Level 2 or above is preferred but not mandatory, given sufficient experience in the caregiving field.

Healthcare assistants and carers should demonstrate a genuine passion and enthusiasm for providing care.
