Health Care Assistant- B2

We have a new project that is going live this month and is set up through Herts Valley, this is a community service through the council which will be based within patients' homes throughout Hertfordshire and the surrounding areas.

The positions that they have will vary from package to package. You will be required to move into the patients home and work as a live-in support for the service user. You will be employed to support the service user as a care giver and a friend. It is imperative that we match up the right Carer's to each service user as you will be responsible for helping them live their life whilst remaining safe but still having some control over their independence.

To be considered you must have experience within a care setting and have worked as a care assistant. You must be reliable and punctual. You must be personable and adaptable; we want you to not only make the service users feel at ease, but we also want you to be comfortable and happy in your workplace.

As this project is growing, we are becoming increasingly busy with new service users requiring help and care within the comfort of their own home.

Requirements:

You must have practical Manual Handling & Life Support training (we can book this for you if yours has expired)

You must have a DBS or be willing to get one

You must be reliable, punctual, and compassionate
