Health Care Assistant- B2

We are currently recruiting for a community-based project based in Hertfordshire. The team who is responsible for new patient referrals is taking on new patients daily and increasing the amount of Health Care Professionals needed each day to provide the highest standard of palliative care to this thriving project.

The Hospice is recruiting immediately to take on a team of dedicated and experienced Health Care Professionals to work in patients' homes providing crucial end of life care. This will include personal care, prompting medication, physical and emotional support for each patient within the comfort of their own home.

The project currently covers patients' homes across Hertfordshire in the following locations (you must be willing to travel to any of the locations below): Watford, Hemel Hempstead, Potters Bar, Tring, Welwyn, St Albans, Hatfield, Rickmansworth, Royston, Ware and Harpenden.

This project is available on either a part time or full-time position with a variation of shift patterns:

08:00-12:00 (Early)

14:00 22:00 (Late)

08:00 22:00 (Long day)

As the Hospice project is growing, we are becoming increasingly busy with availability for early, late and long day shifts available from Monday through to Sunday.

Requirements:

You must have access to your own Vehicle

You must have up to date Manual Handling & Life Support training

You must have a DBS

You must be reliable, punctual and compassionate
