London Teaching Pool is currently seeking for an experienced support worker to join our care team to provide support and promote the independence of our client in Clacton
The male client is aged 50 -55 years and is diagnosed with mild learning disability and autism spectrum, non-verbal . The client will need a 2:1 support to access the community, exploring new areas and engage with planned meaningful activities and building a healthy positive relationship with the client will help to reduce their anxiety
The preferred support worker should be a car driver (full driving licence) and can drive client's car. The support worker should also have experience with providing support with similar clients, understand the communication method/signs of the adult and ensure they will be able to engage the client activities,
This is a part time role with flexible working hours ranging from Monday -Sunday up to 30 hours a week (7 hours a day), with an excellent payrate of £13.50 - £15.00 ph., depending on skills, qualification, and experience
What we expect from you:
To provide high standards of support to service users in the community, including assistance with, escorting, budgeting and shopping
Provide Respite to Live in Carer
To be reliable, punctual and excellent duty of care
Previous support experience is preferred.
