Support Worker The Role:

At TLTP Care we are looking for an experienced Support Worker to provide high quality care for a vulnerable adult located in Benfleet for up to 20 hours a week.

This role will include promoting independence and strive to ensure the service user remains as independent as possible, encouraging her to continue to use the skills she has to prevent deskilling. Supporting with activities that provide mental stimulation such as puzzles, colouring, writing and playing lots of different games. You will also need to ensure the home environment Is safe for the service user and will have to assist with meal preparation making sure you follow there meal planner correctly.

Building a positive professional relationship with both the service user and there family is important, showing patience and having good communication skills will contribute towards this.
