Care Coordinator - £24,000 - £26,000 – Redbridge, East London
We are recruiting for a talented and qualified Care Coordinator to join our friendly team. Our service users will require home care and support to enable them to continue living in the comfort of their homes, and your role will play an integral part in assisting them to achieve this.
*Care Coordinator – up to £26,000
*Care Coordinator – full-time role, permanent
*Care Coordinator – ASAP start
*Care Coordinator – Hainault, Redbridge (Central line, on site car parking available)
*Care Coordinator – support with further qualifications and training

Care Coordinator Day-to-Day Responsibilities
- Managing, preparing, and sending rotas to service users and care workers
- Liaise with carers/service users ensuring they are informed of any changes
- Answering phones and dealing with service users, professional associates and carers
- Work with the care manager to pre-empt recruitment needs
- Sourcing and interviewing potential Care and Support Workers and ensuring all applicant paperwork is fully completed as per CQC requirements
- Responding to complaints and queries from service users and care workers
- Have the ability to work in a multi-agency approach
- Completing care and risk assessment as required and processing changes and amendments to existing care plans
- Talking to the service users on a regular basis about their care
- Working together with other team members on other administrative issues or marketing activities
- Ensuring all services are compliant with legislation's, CQC standards and regulations and Keeping computer and paper files up to date and maintain all office policies, procedures and systems in line with company guidelines
- Be organised with a flexible and an empathetic attitude and have passion for the care sector
- Always have a consistent and compassionate approach with our service users
- Be a people’s person who can understand the needs of our service users and our care workers
- Excellent administration experience and Interpersonal Skills
- Strong planning, organisation, and prioritising skills
- Logical thinking and strong problem-solving skills
- Be a multi-tasker with a proactive approach to work and the team
- Excellent telephone manner, IT literate, and attention to detail
- Ability to prioritise tasks and work under pressure with a can-do attitude
- Team player and an outgoing vibrant personality
- Be a car driver and have use of your own car is preferred, but not essential
- You must have, or be working towards an NVQ/QCF Level 2 or 3 in Health & Social Care
- Have thorough knowledge of CQC compliance
- A minimum of 1 year’s full experience as a Care Coordinator is advantageous as is the experience of using restoring software such as People Planner
