Support Worker - £250 Bonus for friends referred (terms apply)
We are looking for a kind and experienced Carer to support our client in Colchester area with a learning disability.
The Client needs to be kept busy and active to distract from becoming overwhelmed and anxious. She has activities already set up as part of her daily routine which you will be accompanying her to with the Live in Carer.
We are looking for a Care Assistant who can drive the client in her own car to and from her activities on Mondays and Thursdays every week.
The client also likes to go swimming at the indoor pool and socialising going to educational and other classes, clubs, cinema, theatre, and discos.
Support Worker Duties
Support patients with household and domestic tasks
Providing much needed companionship
Accompanying social interaction in the community
The client requires support to shop, prepare and cook meals. She can choose what she wants to eat which is important as this gives her control and choice, and she is also able to eat independently. However, some foods are cut up for her i.e. Meat or similar as she cannot coordinate her knife and fork to do this herself.

Support Worker Requirements
Previous experience in a similar role
Having a compassionate nature and being able to work with patience and understanding
Willing to do personal care tasks
A full and valid UK driving licence is required
You need to be 100% committed to helping improve the quality of life of vulnerable people
You must have the right to work within the UK
