*£17,000 to £22,000 dependent on experience
*Full-time
*Office based role with field work
*Office based in Hainault, Redbridge, Essex (IG6 postcode)

*Monday - Friday 8.30am-5.30pm plus on-callduties

We are recruiting an experienced and qualified Care Coordinator to support the Registered Care Manager with day-to-day activities. This role is office based (Hainault, IG6 postcode) with field work required and managing the out of hours on-call phone.
As a Care Coordinator, you will be responsible for planning and allocating the work load for the care staff. You will be required to complete team rotas to ensure that the care delivered is of the highest standard. You will be required to assist with invoice and pay roll queries and ensure client visits are not missed as the care you help to provide is very important to the people you support.
Job duties
- Liaise and work closely with the registered care manager
- Recruit care workers
- Process changes to customer care and support plans
- Ensure there is sufficient cover to deliver excellent care and support to customers
- Utilise IT systems to allocate care assistants, and appropriately match them to the right customer
- Rota production and distribution
- Maintenance of electronic and handwritten records
- Manage highly confidential and sensitive information
- Manage the out of hours on-call phone
- Manage payroll and invoice queries
Person Specification - Essential Criteria

- Ability to implement and review care plans and work with complex cases
- Basic computer literacy
- Full UK Driving Licence with access to your own vehicle desirable
- Positive attitude to own health and work attendance record
Qualifications & Experience
- Qualified in NVQ Level 2 or NVQ level 3 Health & Social Care desirable
- At least a years’ experience in coordinating home care services
To be successful within this role, you need to be hard working, have a flexible approach without shying away from doing what is necessary to ensure the right care is provided to the service users and have care knowledge or worked with within domiciliary care.
