Domiciliary Care Assistants
Who are we:
London Teaching Pool is a CQC registered agency based in Hainault, we take pride in protecting and caring for our service users. We have a great team of individuals who would go over and above to ensure our service users living in their own homes are safe, protected and cared. At London Teaching Pool, we are looking to recruit the very best carers who have passion and truly want to make a possible difference to the life of vulnerable service users living in their own homes. We are recruiting for domiciliary carers in Braintree, Basildon and Brentwood.
Your duties will be the following:
Meeting service user’s personal care needs in a way that respects their dignity
Assisting the service users with daily living activities and domestic duties
To provide person centred care to the service users
To deliver care to service users as directed by care plan
To record service user’s care notes
To report any changes in service user’s health, mobility, etc.
To ensure that the health, safety and welfare of service users is protected
To promote service user’s rights, choice, independence, individuality, privacy and dignity
To provide companionship to prevent loneliness
The following experience and qualifications are ideal for this role:
Care experience is preferred but not essential as full training is provided.
NVQ level 2 or 3 in Health & Social Care (preferable)
Hold a full driving license and own transport (Preferable)
Ability to keep calm under pressure
Excellent communication skills
Reliable, adaptable and flexible working attitude
