Description

The NHS Kent Community Hospitals are looking for compassionate, reliable and experienced Healthcare Assistants to work in the Kent community.

If you are an enthusiastic caring person and have a car with a full licence this is the perfect job for you.

What we can offer you

Long days, early shifts and late shifts Monday to Friday are available in multiple Kent areas.

Previous healthcare experience is required.

What does the role entail?

Your primary responsibility will be to support patients in their own homes. You will work under indirect supervision of the clinical team.

A healthcare assistant must offer daily maintenance to patients and assist them with washing, showering and oral care.

Healthcare assistants will also be required to apply lotions and creams, when required, especially around pressure areas.

Other healthcare assistant tasks include dressing and undressing patients, when necessary.

As a healthcare assistant / carer, you will be expected to care for patients and their families in the same way we would want for our loved-ones.

Qualifications and skills

NVQ Level 2 or above is preferred however not essential providing you have enough experience in the caring field. Additionally, healthcare assistants and carers should be able to exhibit a passion and enthusiasm for care.

You must be a car driver to apply for this role.
