Locations: Maidstone & Tonbridge

We are seeking dedicated and experienced Healthcare Assistants to join our compassionate and skilled team, providing personalized care on a 1-to-1 basis for a patient with complex care needs. The successful candidate will play a crucial role in enhancing the quality of life for this individual requiring specialised care in the comfort of their own home.

Key Responsibilities:

Provide high-quality, one-to-one care to a patient with complex care needs.

Demonstrate proficiency in handling specific medical requirements, including epilepsy, peg feed J&G, and buccal care. Certificates are a must.

Ensure strict adherence to care plans and medical protocols tailored to the patient needs.

Qualifications and Skills:

Package 1 - Nights 20:00-08:00

Essential Certified training in ASD, Learning Disabilities, Epilepsy & Personal Care

Desired: NVQ Level 2 or above in Health and Social Care.

Previous experience in a similar role.

Package 2 - Days 08:00-20:00

Essential Certified training in PEG J&G, Complex Moving and handling, Buccal

Desired: NVQ Level 2 or above in Health and Social Care.

Previous experience in a similar role.

Requirements:

A valid driver's license and access to a reliable vehicle.

Flexibility to work varying shifts: 08:00-20:00 and 20:00-08:00, five days per week (Monday to Friday, with potential weekend shifts).

Willingness to travel between the patients' home in Maidstone and the hospital in Tonbridge.
