Health Care Assistant- B2

We are currently seeking Band 2 Health Care Assistants to work at an NHS Hospital based in Edgeware. The service in an in-patient service offering rehabilitation to adults within their bedded unit.

The ward aims to provide medically optimised patients a short period of time to complete necessary assessments to develop their care plans to be able to be discharged to an appropriate, safe destination. Patients will have therapy input in the rehabilitation units to help them become as independent as possible. Basic nursing care is provided on the units and we aim to support patients to manage their own health conditions and look after themselves.

We are looking for the following:

Previous experience as HCA / Support Worker

Punctual and reliable

Professional and polite working manner

The hospital has shift availability between Monday to Sunday from 07:15-19:45, we are able to offer you shifts on either a part time or full-time basis. The ward is fast paced and requires a forward-thinking individual who is eager to assist and uses their initiative to ensure that patient care is at the highest level.
