Health Care Assistant- B2

I am currently recruiting for HCA's to work within a Hospice In-patient service which is based in Hertfordshire. They are seeking HCA's to join them on a bank basis working shifts from Monday to Sunday.

The service's in-patient unit is made up of palliative care patients of all ages who require specialist care. The Hospice staff delivers personalised palliative end of life care for those in need following a diagnosis of a life-limiting illness.

The service is looking for a team of bank staff to join the Hospice in patient unit. The role would be ideal for an HCA who is looking for part time hours to work in a palliative care setting. You must be friendly, compassionate, hardworking and reliable.

The Hospice operates as a seven-day service from Monday through to Sunday with day and night shifts available.

Shift patterns:

Long day - 08:00 -20:00

Early 08:00-15:00

Late- 15:00- 20:00

Night - 20:00 - 08:00

However, hours can vary and depend on the requirements of the service.

It is essential that you:

Have Manual Handling & Life Support training (or be willing to have the training)

At least 6 months experience in a similar hospital setting

Have a valid DBS (or be willing to update it)
