Palliative Community Care- Health Care Assistant
We have a rewarding opportunity for experienced Palliative Health care Assistants to join our client's friendly team working within the community around the Hertfordshire area. This position is working within the community travelling from home to home so it is imperative that you have a full UK driving licence and have access to your own car.
Full-time / part-time hours available
Shift Times:
Early 08:00-14:30
Late 14:00-20:00 or 14:00-22:00
Long Day 08:00-20:00
Main Tasks and Responsibilities:
To assist/support people with day to day living tasks
To assist/support people with personal care tasks to include toileting, washing bathing and showering
Change medical equipment such as catheters when required and ensuring that all the equipment that is used on the patient is cleaned and stored correctly
To assist/support people to take medication in accordance with organisational policy
Liaise with relatives and outside professionals on each patient's progression
Salary and Benefits:
Monday to Friday £9.00.10-£11.10ph
Sat/Nights £11.00- £13.00ph
Sun/Bank Holidays £13.00-£15.00ph

What we need from you:
Care experience in Hospitals/ community or Care Home essential
NVQ 2 or 3 desirable but not essential
Must be a car driver with access to a car
Willing to complete required agency compliance
