- Description
We are currently recruiting for a community-based project based in Luton and South Bedfordshire. The service operates a night division for specialist care for adults with life-limiting and terminal illnesses as well as vital support for their family and friends.
This new project goes live in February 2022 and will operate a 7-day service from Monday through to Sunday. The hours will vary between Twilight and full Night shifts, the timings I will state below. The care will be double up care with two carers working together at each visit.
The management team that is responsible for new patient referrals is taking on new patients daily and increasing the amount of Health Care Professionals needed to provide the highest standard of palliative care to the patients on the project.
We are recruiting immediately to take on a team of dedicated and experienced Health Care Professionals to work in patients' homes providing crucial end of life care. This will include personal care, prompting medication, physical and emotional support for each patient and their family within the comfort of their own home.
The project currently covers patients' homes across Luton and Bedfordshire. Your night visits would be working with up to six patients per night in the community. There would be a senior nurse available 24/7 on call based in the In-patients Unit who will be on hand to help and advise if needed.
This project is available on either a part time or full-time position with a variation of shift patterns:
