TLTP Care is part of London Teaching Pool Ltd, a specialist recruitment agency operating in the Education and Medical sectors since 2006. We are looking for Live in Carers across Essex of a compassionate, reliable, and understanding nature

We are currently recruiting for Live in Carers to help provide high-quality professional care and support services to adults of all ages, in their own home.

Knowledge of the local area is an advantage for taking patients out into the community i.e. taking them on walks to the park or accompanying them to social events.

Live in Carer Responsibilities:

Managing and maintaining personal hygiene: The client requires encouragement with washing and dressing.

Managing toilet needs: The client is fully continent

Managing and maintaining nutrition: The client is on normal foods and fluids. She can eat independently when food and drinks are given to her. The client has a sweet tooth and will eat a whole box of cakes if they are left in view.

Medication: The client requires assistance with medication. She is compliant with all her prescribed medication.

The client does not always communicate when she is in pain, but this may need to be anticipated for her when she rubs her hips or knees

The client can be disorientated to night and day. Night time activity recording has been completed and this identified that's she can need to be prompted to return back to bed on occasions, she is an early riser. Door sensors are in place with a pager to alert the carer, if they are in another room or are sleeping, if she tries to exit the property at any time alone.

The client enjoys pottering in the garden and going out for walks or to the local shops.

Live in Carer Requirements:

Previous experience in a similar role

Caring and kind

Willing to do personal care tasks

A full and valid UK driving licence would be is an advantage but not required

Able to follow instructions and procedures

You need to be 100% committed to helping improve the quality of life of vulnerable people

You must have the right to work within the UK
