Job Description
We are looking for people with kind, compassionate hearts who want to make a true difference to the quality of life of our clients as we expand our team in Walthamstow, East London.Every one of our clients is unique and special, the joy and comfort our clients receive from one of our Carer’s visiting them makes this an incredibly rewarding job.
You’ll be part of a caring, supportive team with exciting career development opportunities, and flexible full and part-time hours, when you join TLTP Care as a Care Assistant.
Your days as a Care Assistant will be varied, interesting and rewarding, from general care right through to specialist care. As our clients live in their own homes, they need care visits that work around their lifestyle. You’ll assist residents with washing, dressing, eating, drinking, and getting around. You’ll help them maintain their independent in their own home. You’ll enjoy their favourite activities with them, like bingo, dancing shopping and live music. You’ll develop strong relationships with the individuals you work with, and their families.
As well as gaining fulfilment for yourself, you will be really helping to reduce periods of loneliness as your visits will be so important to our clients.
You’ll be respectful of residents’ choices, dignity, and independence, always. You’ll also be integral to developing residents Care Plans, which includes being aware of any specialist support needs.
