Introduction

TLTP medical are currently recruiting for a Band 4/5 Pharmacy Technician with recent hospital experience for position based in Tonbridge, Kent. This Locum position is for 3 months initially with a potential to extend. The ideal Pharmacy Technician would be able to work full-time hours, Monday to Friday from 09:00-17:30.

Job Description

As part of your role, you will work directly with patients, their carer's and other members of the healthcare team.

Typically your role will include:

providing safe and effective pharmacy services

supplying medicines and medical devices to patients, whether on prescription or over the counter and providing information on symptoms and products

achieving the best outcomes through a patient’s medicines

assembling and accuracy checking medicines for prescriptions

providing information to patients, carer's and other members of the Healthcare team

managing areas of medicines supply such as dispensaries

supervising other pharmacy staff

responding to patients’ and customers’ questions both face to face and over the phone

pre-packing, assembling and labelling medicines

referring problems or queries to the pharmacist

The successful candidate must have the following criteria:

GPhC Registered

Previous experience of more than 6 months in a UK based Pharmacy setting
